Biography

Mariam is a classically trained actor who has been directing for 15 years. Her text-based work has been produced by MTC, PTE, Winnipeg Jewish Theatre (WJT), Dry Cold Productions, and various theatre school and universities. Works directed include Shakespeare, contemporary musicals (ie 1970s forward), chamber operas, new Canadian plays, and contemporary classics (Miller, Mamet, Pinter). She was Artistic Director of WJT for two years, and continues as Artistic advisor to the company.
