Jana is an actor, writer, director, producer, assistant director and general workhorse in film, television & theatre.

She's been telling stories for as long as she can remember. She grew up writing and performing plays in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada.

During her final year of her BFA in Theatre Acting from Grenfell Campus, Memorial University of Newfoundland in Corner Brook she wrote her first screenplay, "Must Be a Zombie Apocalypse" for the St. John's International Women's Film Festival's inaugural FRAMED West program. The short comedy screened at the Halifax Independent Film Festival in 2013 & various Sci Fi Conventions in Atlantic Canada -AtlantiCon (Corner Brook, NL), SciFi on the Rock (St. John's, NL), and HalCon (Halifax, NS).

She works primarily as an actor and assistant director in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.
