Jakob Creighton is a Canadian actor, singer, and writer. He is originally from Halifax, NS, and is currently located in Toronto, Ontario.


While in high school, Jakob trained with Neptune Theatre's Youth Performance Company, and was in three of their fall productions between 2010 and 2012. Jakob holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice from Université de Moncton (class of 2018). He is currently a student at Randolph College for the Performing Arts (class of 2021).


Creighton made his professional début in October 2015 in the second iteration of the oratorio La Vallée des Possibles for the Société de la Vallée de Memramcook. He has since performed in numerous stage productions.

In December 2018, he was cast in an indie feature film set to be filmed in Halifax, NS. The film is currently set for a 2020 release.

In April 2020, Jakob will have his début performance at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto with the VOCA Chorus.

As a writer, his début teleplay Leaving the Nest received various accolades in 2015 and early 2016. His début novella was released via Amazon in December 2019.
