Chick Reid

Description

Chick Reid is a graduate of Queen's University, where she is currently a professor of acting for Shakespeare and the camera in the fall it the Isabel Bader Centre. Reid has done a lot of work both on the Stage and on the Screen. She is known as a leading theatre artist and performer in Canada.

Stage

Reid has performed nation-wide and in the U.S., playing major roles for the Stratford Festival of Canada since 1996. She has performed in four seasons at the Shaw Festival and four seasons at Theatre Plus Toronto.[1] Recently she appeared in the Stratford production of Much Ado About Nothing on Broadway and played Puck in Midsummer's Night Dream. Reid is also regularly involved in the development of new plays, working with some of Canada’s most acclaimed playwrights, such as Judith Thompson, Anton Piatorgorzky and John Mighton.[2]
