zone41 theatre is a not-for-profit professional theatre company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

About zone41/Mandate

Incorporated in November 2009, zone41 brings national calibre actors, playwrights, directors, teachers and designers living or having roots in Manitoba together to re-vision classic works through ensemble collaboration. As a company, it looks to the region, the classics of the world theatre repertory and the experiences artists bring to inform its work. The company was born with the thinking that a small, well-run theatre company with high standards can offer its audiences the opportunity to be a part of enduring, important works while supporting local artists to contribute to the quality, viability and permanence of theatre in the province [1].

The founding Artistic Director is Krista Jackson. Matthew Handscombe is founding General Manager.
