Sasha Singer-Wilson

Sasha Singer-Wilson is a Vancouver-based and Toronto-bred writer, performer and producer.

She is a graduate of the Acting Conservatory at York University and has trained and worked with Jumblies, Convergence Theatre, Theatre Passe Muraille, Theatre Gargantua[1], Odyssey Studio, One Yellow Rabbit and SummerWorks. She has facilitated workshops for young people with Shakespeare in Action and Pleiades Theatre.

Sasha and Sarah Jurgens co-run the blood projects. Sasha co-creates the ongoing, web-based, pocket-sized writing project these five minutes. She was part of the inaugural Soulpepper Playwrights Circle in 2013/2014. Most recently, Sasha collaborated with Cat and the Queen on inside, a series of one-on-one encounters about who we are when we're alone.

Sasha is currently an MFA candidate in Playwriting at UBC.
