Biography

Albers is an Associate Member of The Playwrights Guild of Canada

"Katherine was born in Edmonton, Alberta, but mostly grew up in southwestern Ontario. After completing an Hon. B.A. in French at Western University, she received a scholarship to complete her M.A. on dramatist Jean Giraudoux in Strasbourg, France. She now teaches high school French Immersion subjects, including dramatic arts in Burlington. She has directed and worked backstage for a number of high school productions and community theatre. Since an amateur production of her first full-length play in 2003, she has had six short historical plays commissioned by the Lincoln Rotary and also regularly writes puppet scripts for church presentations. She lives in Niagara with her husband and two children."
