Joelle Peters

Joelle Peters is a First Nations actor, born in Sarnia, Ontario and raised on Walpole Island. She graduated from Seneca College's Acting for Camera and Voice program in June of 2014 and has experience with dance, clown, improv, mask, voice-over, directing, script writing, film and television acting, as well as theatre performance. Joelle recently starred as Catherine/Gennessee in the world premiere of 'Deceitful Above All Things', a 2015 Summerworks Festival show that received a 'NNNN' rating from NOW Magazine as well as several award nominations and wins. Joelle was also recently on an episode of Discovery ID's Web of Lies. On the side, she is working on a music project in Nashville, Tennessee with music producer Mark Dreyer. In March 2015 she coordinated an acting workshop for First Nations youth on Walpole Island with Toronto casting director Millie Tom and actor Nicolas Van Burek. Joelle is represented by Misty Griggs of Advantage Talent Agency and Maggie Dunlop of Oldfield Management.
