Clayton Baraniuk is a theatre maker, actor, singer, director, producer and administrator. His work is focused around exploration of the connections between music and theatre, supporting new play development, artistic professional development and the growth of Canadian Theatre.


Clayton got involved in theatre in Couretnay, BC (his home town) at GP Vanier Secondary. He got his first professional job directing a play for Rainbow Youth Theatre with 30 young children. In 2000 he began training at the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, BC. He founded a musical theatre company called Gotta Getta Gimmick in 2002, and has helped create more than 30 productions with GGG in the 12 years since.
